The Story of Brian Ború by Morgan Llywelyn
Perhaps once in a millennium a spectacular new meteor blazes across the sky. In Ireland in the tenth century, that meteor was Brian Bóru. He was born in 941 in an Iron Age ring fort on the west bank of the Shannon River, a short distance from the present-day town of Killaloe in County Clare. In 1002, Brian Bóru was inaugurated Árd Rí on the Hill of Tara. |
